How do I best calculate the employee criteria?OFFICES - Assuming you are marketing a building we would suggest using 1:200 sqft. This might be considered ‘generous’ but remember that potential tenants will want to take enough space to allow for expansion.
INDUSTRIAL – There is really no template one can use because use of the space can be so different. A reasonable guide is to base it on the office content of the unit and apply 1:200 as above.
Which is best, postal mailing or emailing?Both are forms of Direct Marketing i.e. targeting the actual potential tenant, moreover with our lists the person who will be responsible for the search and/or signing the lease. It comes down to budget. Postal mailing provides comprehensive coverage and has greater impact, emailing is cheaper and reporting means that results are quantified. Solution? Do a combined exercise for maximum benefit.
Why do you need 5 working days to supply data?Every order gets our 100% attention and to provide the data accuracy our clients expect we need lists to go through our prep process. However, depending on workload at a given time it may be possible to fast-track. If timing is important please mention this at time of ordering.
Can’t I cut down on numbers by excluding remote property contacts?You certainly can but we’re unsure why you’d want to. The property contact is our USP and the best way of ensuring your message is read is by targeting the local contact and (in the event there is one) the remotely-based property contact.
How do we avoid being burdened by GDPR responsibilities?No problem, just don’t purchase the data. Rent your data from Waltons for one-time use and allow us to process the mailing or email broadcast for you. If we do not supply the full dataset, (checklists are ok) all GDPR/PECR responsibilities remain with us.
Won’t I be saving money by purchasing the data and re-using as and when?Not necessarily and you will certainly have the burden of ensuring GDPR & PECR compliance. Dip in and out of the Waltons database as and when you require – it’s easy, all data responsibilities remain with us and you’ll know the data has been validated. Repeat exercises are discounted within certain timescales.
